The APAP (Advancing Performing Arts Project) is a vehicle under which C/U Foundation together with its eight European partners have been supporting a contemporary performing arts development program Performing Europe since 2012, with support from the EU. Over 3 years, C/U has organized 7 residencies, 6 productions and presented 10 performances, hosting 62 artists in Warsaw as a part of the process. During this year’s Festival we are going to see a premiere performance by Karol Tymiński: This is a musical.

APAP members include: SZENE Salzburg, BIT Teatergarasjen Bergen, Centrale Fies Dro, Arts Centre BUDA Kortrijk, Maison de la Culture d’Amiens, Student Centre Zagreb, Tanzfabrik Berlin, Fundacja Ciało/Umysł.

In 2013, the C/U Foundation has launched a third stage of an European Open Latitudes project. Established in 2008 with the support from the EU Culture Programme, the project has received positive feedback and a 2 milllion Euro grant for its continuation until 2016. During this year’s Body/Mind Festival we are going to see as many as 4 performances by artists supported by Open Latitudes. These are Rachid Ouramdane, David Weber-Krebs, Csaba Molnár, and a special project created by a Portuguese duo: Ana Borralho and João Galante together with Warsaw citizens.

Open Latitudes is created by: Latitudes Contemporaines (France), le Teatro delle Moire, the interdisciplinary SÍN Culture Centre in Budapest (Hungary), Le PhénixScène Nationale de Valenciennes (France), Vooruit Kunstencentrum à Gand (Belgium), Materiais Diversos à Minde (Portugal), l’Arsenic (Switzerland), MIR festival in Athens (Freece) and Fundacja Ciało/Umysł.

Foundation is realising its projects with the financial aids granted for a year or a longer period of time by either the Cultural Department of the Warsaw's Municipal Council, the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage or the European Commission:
